Hezbollah says it will join the war against Israel to help the Palestinians

The deputy head of the Hezbollah group has rejected calls not to get involved in the conflict between Gaza and Israel.

Na'im Qassem said that their group is ready to fight Israel when the time comes.

Even last week, Hezbollah fought a conflict with Israeli forces on the Lebanese border.

The group's comments coincided with Iran's foreign minister's visit to Beirut.

Tehran provides financial and military support to Hezbollah.
