Today, Tuesday, the new Mayor of Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, was sworn in.
Yemi Mobolade, a Nigerian native, won the race for mayor of Colorado Springs, the second-largest city in the U.S. state of Colorado and historically a stronghold of conservatives. He will now hold the job. Additionally, he is the first black man elected mayor in the city's history.
