The Federal Assembly has asked the Federal Government to suspend Nigeria Air
The Committee of the Federal Council on Air Transport has asked the Federal Government to end the Nigerian Air Transport Company, Nigeria Air, as soon as possible. Nigeria Air was started a week after Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in as President.
The committee also said that everyone engaged in hiding the launch of Nigeria Air, which the council said was a scam and not an airline, should be arrested and charged right away.
When they met with some government leaders in the aviation sector at the Federal Assembly in Abuja, they agreed to ask the federal government to stop Nigeria Air.
During the meeting, their opinion was read out by Nnolim Nnaji, who is from Enugu and is a member of the PDP.
There were people from the Airmen's Association of Nigeria (AON), the National Ministry of Transport, and other groups at the meeting.
Hadi Sirika, who was the Minister of Transport when Buhari was in power, launched the plane, which turned out to be a hoax and a scam.
