The Bauchi Governor Employed 1,683 New Workers
Bala Muhammad, the governor of Bauchi State, began his second term in office by hiring 1,684 new personnel for various government positions.
This is a part of the strategy to address the labor shortage that exists in several government ministries, departments, and agencies.
Speaking to journalists about the situation, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna, the chairman of the Bauchi State Staff, testified that more than a thousand staff members had been hired in the education field to address the state's educational challenges.
He claimed that the newly hired instructors teach crucial courses like English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and information and communication technologies. He further disclosed that the governor has given his approval for the appointment of 154 more instructors, all of whom will work at the Aminu Saleh College of Education in Azare.
If you recall, Bala Muhammad stated during his swearing-in speech that the state has lifted the employment prohibition in order to provide legitimate youth with a full opportunity to enter the workforce. On this basis, it indicates that the hiring of new staff will begin shortly in the administration of government operations.
According to Yahuza, the current administration in Bala Muhammad state is dedicated to ensuring that work is done effectively for the benefit of the community and the advancement of Bauchi state.
He then advised persons in need of employment to exercise caution and avoid being approached by anyone or anyone else who would like something in exchange for employment. Whoever asks for money so he may provide for them, please aid us."Someone who has a job, then hurry up to provide for us, and we will take action against everyone," he vowed during his testimony.
According to the chief of staff, the governor hired 1,000 new employees for the Ministry of Education, 44 for the Ministry of Agriculture, 206 for the Department of Agricultural Development (BSADP), 90 for the Ministry of Agricultural Production and Distribution (BASADA), 70 for the Ministry of Women and Child Development, 154 for Aminu Saleh College of Education in Azare, and 120 for the Shari'a Court of Appeal.
Then he urged the new employees to collaborate with the state administration to accomplish the goals of Bauchi state.
